Dear Ayiszita,
I am an ESL PhD student in the UStates, and I am writing my dissertation on non-native speakers writing in English. By non-native speakers, I mean those who speak English as a foreign language (by this excluding those for whom English is a second, official or post-colonial language). I am looking into the reasons of why someone starts writing in English in their home country.
I would like to know if you are such a non-native speakers, or if you came into contact with English as a child.
I would appreciate your help in this matter.
